đ Recap (Chapter 1):
Dr. Ishita Sharmaâknown as the miracle child and undefeated Medical Goddessâcontinues to save lives while living a life of peace and precision. Meanwhile, the worldâs most feared political force, Aarav Rathoreâthe Devil Kingâhears of her refusal to his marriage proposal. She sees him as everything sheâs vowed to avoid. But destiny has other plans.
đ Rathore Royal Estate, Udaipur â The Devilâs Court
âYouâve lost your mind, Maa.â
Aarav Rathore didnât even glance up from his encrypted tablet.
Across from him sat Rajeshwari Rathore, Indiaâs former queen of politics, wrapped in a simple ivory saree with pearls that held centuries of power.
âIshita Sharma is not just a doctor. Sheâs a sign. A divine answer to this generationâs war between dharma and dominance.â
âSheâs a glorified healer.â
âSheâs a warrior with a white coat. And you're a king with blood on your hands. You both balance each other, Aarav.â
đ Ishitaâs World â An Ashram Above the Noise
Ishita stood barefoot on the stone floors of a peaceful ashram in Rishikesh, surrounded by incense smoke and women singing healing chants.
Beside her, Dr. Meera Sharma, her adoptive mother and head of the all-women healing ashram, stirred Ayurvedic herbs into a golden mix.
âThey sent another rishta?â Ishita asked quietly, not looking up from the scroll in her lap.
âYes. From Rajeshwari Rathore, no less.â Meeraâs tone was calm, steady, like the Himalayas around them.
âI am not a chess piece, Maa.â
âYou're not. But karma sometimes knocks in strange disguises.â
đ An Unexpected Visit â The Matriarch Arrives
In the sacred meditation hall, Guru Vaidya Ishwaranandâthe man who raised Ishita in mind, body, and soulâpoured two cups of tulsi tea as Rajeshwari Rathore arrived in silence.
âShe won't say yes,â he said to the former CM.
Rajeshwari raised an eyebrow. âThen I will ask her soul, not her mouth.â
From the shadowed corridor, Dr. Kabir Sharma, Ishitaâs reserved but sharp cousin, watched protectively. He didnât trust politicians. Especially ones with palaces.
đ Garden of Fire â When Queens Meet
Ishita, in a beige cotton kurti and bare feet, faced Rajeshwari Rathore, who sat like a queen reborn among blooming marigolds.
âYou want me to marry the Devil King?â
âI want you to challenge him.â
âHe rules through fear.â
âAnd you rule through faith. Together, youâll either destroy each otherâor heal the world.â
Ishitaâs eyes didnât blink.
âAnd if I refuse?â
Rajeshwari smiled softly.
âThen destiny will come back⌠louder.â
đ That Night â A Storm, A Prayer
Ishita sat before her small temple, next to the photo of her birth parents she had never known. Dr. Meera stood behind her silently, while Guruji lit a diya and whispered:
âSometimes, itâs not about choosing the path⌠Itâs about recognizing when the path has chosen you.â
Outside, thunder cracked across the sky. The blood moon shone red.
Far away in Udaipur, Aarav Rathore looked up at the same moon and said coldly:
âSo the Medical Goddess thinks she can say no to meâŚâ
He smirked.
âLetâs see how long that lasts.â
